Visa's are here!

We received the visa's today! We are breathing a big sigh of relief. We are mostly packed (actually, I was mostly packed four days ago - Aaron is working on it) and we leave tomorrow!! Our flight leaves at 3:20 pm. We are flying Minneapolis to Amsterdam to Moscow. We'll get in to Moscow around 3:00 on Sunday afternoon local time and leave for our region on Monday which is another two hour flight. We meet with the Ministry of Education on Tuesday to officially receive the referral. After that, we drive to the orphanage and will have a chance to ask the orphanage director questions (we've prepared a list of questions ahead of time.) Then we meet the little guy! Over the next couple of days we should get a chance to visit the little guy once or twice a day. We will be back home Saturday the 26th.

Here is a picture of some things we will be leaving with the little guy. The photo album has pictures of us, grandparents, aunts, uncles and Floyd. We are hoping the orphanage workers will take pictures with the camera between trips - sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
