We Have A Referral!!

Aaron and I have been blessed with a referral for a little boy!! We are so happy and excited! Due to privacy rules, we are not allowed to share any identifying information or pictures on our blog, however, I can tell you that we do think he is a cute little guy :). As part of our referral information we were sent four short video clips (almost unheard of in Russian adoption these days) and they had him giggling in every one. We will be traveling to meet him December 19th through the 26th. We will be gone for Christmas but consider this an amazing Christmas gift. As part of our first trip, we will receive the official referral from the Russian Ministry of Education and meet the little guy. If there are no big surprises, we will sign the paper work to accept the referral. Then we will come back without the little guy and wait for a court date. From what I have been able to tell, court dates in our region have been around two months after the first trip. But for now, we are busy planning for trip one. We just sent out for our visas - the visa processing company said we would get them back the day before we travel. That's just a little bit too close for comfort! Please pray that we get those visas in time. It's hard to believe that in less than two weeks we'll be in Russia!!
