#1 Germ Infested Job

The #1 germ infested job is teaching. How do I know this? It was info I learned while sitting at home this afternoon watching "The Doctors" and battling the stomach flu. Just a little gift from one of my students. Needless to say, we did not have our home study today. Aaron called this morning and left a message for the social worker saying we needed to cancel our appointment. She did not get the message since she left from her home. So she drove out here, traipsed through half a foot of snow (Aaron hadn't had a chance to snow blow the driveway yet), and got to meet me at one of my finest moments (pajamas, crazy hair, glasses, fuzzy teeth etc.) She said that we have a "big dog" and that she would call on Monday to reschedule. I'm disappointed that we weren't able to get the home study completed today. This doesn't help to get this process moving quickly. Hopefully we can get another home study scheduled for next week.

Sorry your homestudy didn't go quite as planned today. I am sure they'll get you in next week! Feel better Beth and have a great weekend to you two and your "big dog" :)

Oohhh, I LOVE the Doctors! However, I could have told you that we have the most germ-infested job. We speech teachers may have even a MORE germy job than classroom teachers - what with all the spitting in our faces and such :)
