We sent dossier part 1 to the agency! We have the final copy of the
homestudy paper. After some notarizing difficulty (we tried to get a document notarized by 3 different people but all 3 refused - Aaron finally drove to our agency to get it notarized) we were finally able to notarize all documents. Then Aaron drove the the secretary of state's office and had them all
apostilled and they were sent off to the agency last Wednesday. Now the agency will add some documents and check it over to make sure it looks
ok. Then it's off to Russia next. It will need to be translated in Russia and then it will be sent to our region. And then we will be officially waiting. Last weekend we found out that the wait may now be closer to 2-6 months rather than the one year wait we were originally told. That was great news! Now we will be working hard on dossier part 2 which is much larger and will be more time consuming. We are really making progress now!
