Well, we never did get the original home study that was sent to us in the mail. I called last Thursday afternoon and our social worker didn't think she could get us another copy until this week since the typist was out of the office. (I asked if she could get on the computer and print one off - that wasn't a possibility.) Luckily, she found an additional copy and personally dropped it off at our house on Friday since she was in the area. We only found a couple numbers that were incorrect. The typist will now need a week to make the corrections (can I please drive over, change the 0 to 7, the 20 to 19 and print it off myself?!) I am definitely still working on the patience thing. I just really, really want to get the papers sent off to Russia! But we are moving forward even though it may not be as quick as I would like it. On Friday we get our fingerprints taken for the USCIS approval and on Saturday we have travel orientation at the agency. The orientation will focus on what to expect during the referral process, Russian culture, and what travel will all entail. I'm looking forward to it.
